Equality Means Business

Displaying this sticker on your front window or company
vehicle distinguishes your business as pro-equality.
On December 30, 2013, Tennessee Equality Project Foundation (TEP) launched a new initiative called “Equality Means Business” to celebrate business support of equality across the state. The awareness campaign kicked off TEP's tenth anniversary year of advocating equality for Tennessee’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community.

Honorary Co-Chairs for the initiative are entrepreneurs Martha Boggs in Knoxville, Randy Rayburn in Nashville and Ray Rico in Memphis.

The principles of Equality Means Business are:

  • Companies serve customers regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
  • Companies don't discriminate against their employees based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
  • Companies support the idea that public policy that advances equality is good for the business climate in Tennessee.

Each company that signs up (it's free of charge) gets a window cling like the above image that they can display.  The company name and website link will also appear on TEP's website.
