Well, just when readers of the Commercial Appeal discovered that TEP uses Facebook for activism, suddenly we encounter the anti-TEP. Here's their page. They are Tennesseans Against the Tennessee Equality Project. Hot damn! We've arrived.
They've even peppered their page with some lies: TEP is well funded and has actual employees. Yeah, I was, um, just processing payroll a minute ago, and, ah, oh yeah, we don't have employees as was pointed out in the same Commercial Appeal article above.
Grand Divisions

Tennessee contributors to Florida's marriage ban revealed with handy map
Based on this map of residents of Tennessee who contributed to the effort to pass Florida's marriage ban, persecuting GLBT people in other states isn't a very high priority. The dollar amounts aren't very high either. Maybe no one told Lee Beaman about the Florida amendment because his name doesn't show up.
But if you click on the balloon around Franklin, you'll see that one of our friends at the Family Action Council of Tennessee did his part. Disney may be too pro-gay, but at least it's still safe to go to the beach without running into married same-sex couples.

Post-Prop 8 tactic maps the future of pressuring the opposition
This map allows you to click on little balloons each of which represents a financial supporter of California's Proposition 8. They're calling it a mash-up of Google maps and the Prop 8 donor list. It's got a lot of the donors nervous because they're worried about being subjected to boycotts and the like.
I wonder whether something like it will be coming to Nashville after the English Only matter is settled. Reading this Tennessean story, I think it's possible:
Fearful of the same backlash that followed California’s Proposition 8 vote, supporters of Metro Nashville’s English-only plan not to disclose campaign financing before the Jan. 22 special election, Metro Councilman Eric Crafton said.
